About the Job:

Randall's Restaurant is looking for an experienced Fine Dining Server to join our front-of-house team.

Responsibilities:

Complete knowledge of our food and bar menus, with the expertise to make suggestions.
Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive and friendly demeanor.
Engage with customers in a professional manner.
Enter orders accurately into POS terminals for transmittal to kitchen staff.
Ensure tables are enjoying their visit and troubleshoot as needed.
Collect payments from tables.
Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
Help food preparation staff when necessary.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of fine dining service, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure with FOH and BOH staff.
Previous food service work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is required for consideration.
The position is part-time and includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

Fine dining experience, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of all menus and terminology.
Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
Ability to stand for 5+ hours and carry heavy trays of food.

Work Setting:

The position is part-time. Must report by 3:00 pm.
Open regularly from Tuesday-Saturday (4:00 pm).
Private events may be booked outside our normal business hours.
Weekend and holiday availability is both expected and required for consideration.
